The Launch of 2023 Situation Report on Human Rights Defenders and Civic Space in Tanzania

Today, 5th July 2024, the Tanzania Human Rights Defenders Coalition (THRDC) has officially launched its 2023 Situation Report on Human Rights Defenders and Civic Space in Tanzania. The launch was conducted at the THRDC headquarters, Mikocheni.

THRDC has been enlightening the public on the situation of human rights for 11 years now. The Coalition has reached over thousands human rights defenders. “For the year 2023, we reached 100 human rights defenders directly and issued them the support they needed.” Adv. Onesmo Olengurumwa.
