This quarter (July-September) THRDC is conducting thematic review meetings of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) recommendations aiming to share progress on implementation.
From 25th July to 04 August, THRDC, coordinated thematic meetings on Child Rights, Pastoralist and Indigenous Rights, Minorities, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.
These workshops target to stimulate and foster cooperation for an effective monitoring of the UPR implementation among stakeholders. The workshops also initiate preparation and discussion for the mid-term review that will take place in 2024.
THRDC continues to mobilize other CSOs to incorporate UPR recommendations into their plans and take the lead in their thematic areas.
