On 15th 2023 THRDC was honored to be visited by the mission from Save the Children under the Sida-CSOs Empowerment Program. Among others, the discussion focused on how the two organizations could improve their working relation and energize the efforts to have more impactful interventions, planning and designing the joint programs that will reach the most in need at the grassroots, coordinating, and capitalizing on learning from each other and how Save the Children could invest to improve the THRDC’s institutional management capacity. It’s worth noting that, the two organizations entered into a five-year program’s agreement (2022 to 2026) focusing on improving the CSOs capacity in protecting and promoting human rights in Tanzania. THRDC is taking this opportunity as another milestone towards promoting and protecting HRDs and human rights in general.
