National Coordinator Joined the launch of Children's Camps

The National Coordinator for @thrdcoalition Adv. @olengurumwa2 Joined the launch of Children's Camps with a Motto "MTOTO VUNJA UKIMYA" that engaged Manzese and Ukombozi Primary Schools in Dar esSalaam, Children Rights Defenders from @tcrf_tz ,  @humanrightstz , Parents, teachers, Religion leaders and Social welfare officials significantly to address the GBV challenges children they do face in their daily lifes  at schools, Streets, homes, and all other places.

He called for all parents, leaders and stakeholders to bear concern of children's future,

"Children are assets of our future world, everyone needs to re-think the brutal Violences our children are facing".

"What if these could be our paths  during our childhood life, it's most obviously that we wouldn't have lawyers, teachers, journalists and all other leaders, is this the future are waiting for? "

 "According to the police report, about 10,000 children are yearly facing #GBV challenges in Tanzania and more than 1000 incidents for kinondoni municipal only",

He asked for immediate measures and been assured that, these children's camps will offer a free, Safer and accessible platform for children to present their #GBV challenges, and together we are eager to take immediate actions against children abuse/GBV

He concluded that, this is just a little launch event, we are looking forward to expand these children's camps to all other schools in and out of Dar es salaam.

The launch event had attended by a Regional Commissioner Representative Ms.Beatrice Mbawa who congratulated Program supporters for their tangible measures to address Children Challenges in Dar es Salaam region, she Said " Through this Campaign, all those who  abuses and violets children's rights by intimidating them for disclosure, its going to be their fatal experience".

Theresia Lihanjala, CEO for Macho kwa Jamii, proclaimed that, this campaign seeks to ensure that children are protected, respected and their dignity is equally upheld, achieving this requires for parents and all stakeholders to offer their needful support in terms of skills, expertise, resources and  any other inkind or financial assistance.
